The Ashipti Project is a registered UK charity that works to support healthcare in Ghana. The word 'Ashipti' means hospital in Dagbani, the language of the Dagomba tribe of the Northern Region.

Current projects

The Ashipti Project was established in 2006 and has since raised over £10,000.  To date, we have primarily worked to support Tamale hospital in Northern Ghana and have sent several shipments of equipment to the hospital.

The Ashipti Project is currently raising money to build a new health centre in the Northern Region of Ghana.  The clinic will provide primary care to the local population and act as a focus health promotion and international volunteering.
